Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Vensuris Capital Inc. (“Vensuris Capital Inc.,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with Business Pro(the “Service”), an operating-performance and coaching platform for auto-repair shops. It applies to the Business Pro website and application, and to data we access from third-party services you connect, including QuickBooks Online.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication identifiers, provided when you or your administrator creates an account.
- Workspace and shop information. The shops, locations, team members, targets, and plans you set up in the Service.
- Financial and operational data from connected services. When you authorize a connection, we access business data from that service to power your scorecard and financial views — for example, invoices and job data from your shop-management system, and profit & loss / general-ledger account data from QuickBooks Online (see “QuickBooks Online” below).
- Usage information. Basic technical and usage data (such as log data and device/browser information) generated as you use the Service, used to operate, secure, and improve it.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- calculate your performance metrics, financial summaries, targets, and coaching guidance;
- secure the Service and prevent abuse; and
- communicate with you about your account and the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use data accessed from QuickBooks Online for advertising.
QuickBooks Online
If you connect QuickBooks Online, you authorize Business Pro, through Intuit’s OAuth flow, to access your company’s accounting data so we can display your financial performance. Specifically:
- We request read-only accounting access. We use it to read company information and profit & loss / general-ledger account data. We do not have access to your Intuit sign-in credentials or your bank login credentials.
- Access tokens issued by Intuit are stored encrypted and are used only to retrieve the data needed to operate the Service on your behalf.
- Our access to and use of information received from Intuit’s APIs adheres to the Intuit Developer terms and applicable API usage requirements, including limited-use requirements.
- You can disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time from the integrations area of the Service, or from within QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting revokes our access; we stop retrieving new data and the stored tokens are invalidated.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service and as required by law:
- Service providers (sub-processors). We use vetted providers for hosting, database, authentication, and AI processing that handle data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- Within your organization. Data is visible to members of your workspace according to the roles you assign.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect a service, we stop retrieving new data from it and invalidate its stored credentials. When you close your account, or on request, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Security
We protect information using industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, envelope-encrypted storage of third-party credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address issues.
Your choices
You can access and update your account information, disconnect linked services, and request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we honor those rights as required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
